Video installation, 1:28:00 min, 2021
A herd of cows swims in the waters of the Mur. Washed away from their alpine pastures, they pass the riverbanks of Graz, floating in the stream as buoys of industrialized livestock. The ringing of their bells brings a rural atmosphere to the city center. Climate change confuses the structures of city and countryside - it rearranges spatial orders. Project "Murpod" is a temporary installation in the Mur river in Graz as part of the Graz Kulturjahr 2020 and was filmed in the game Red Dead Redemption 2.
